Primary: PP90M1 - Focus - Silenced (the P90 & UMP are also nice)
This gun is really sticks hard to targets with steady aim.
Only ADS when enemies are more than 20 feet away running away. Use focus because you need to recover to shoot both the guy in front of you and the guy behind him or you as well. In free-for-all there is almost always somebody trailing your footsteps. This is because of the spawn system. Once you run half way across the stage, someone will spawn where you were, most likely the guy you just killed, so turn around and kill them again. If you could kill him once easily there's a really good chance you can kill him twice.
Secondary: FMG9 (dual or silenced) or Stinger (if you like)
The FMG9 if you are running out of bullets and nobody you killed had a good silenced weapon. Go dual if you can't find anybody on the map, a few shoot and they'll head straight for you. If you can't get many kills, use the stinger (with support) so you can get your killstreaks and lots of XP.
Lethal: C4, Semtex, Frag
C4 makes a huge explosion and you can throw it at head level, it also makes a nice distraction, you can lay a C4 then run away, and blow it up, they'll will run towards the sound looking for the survivor since no kills popped up, and you can pick them off. The same for grenades, but if they see you throw them they will know where you are, that's why C4 works better, you can drop it near your feet.
Tactical: Portable Radar
Because of the tight spawns on free-for-all you can throw this up and out to the left/right/behind as soon as you spawn and usually find someone, you can see out front so there is no reason to throw it there, spin first throw it out, then turn back and run forward. Enemies can't spawn into an area that equipment covers, so it will help stop people from spawning immediately behind you then killing you.
Perk 1: Blind Eye Pro (or Extreme Conditioning Pro)
Blind eye so the kill streaks won't get you, extreme conditioning if you are good at ducking into buildings and hugging the walls and the map is full of places to find cover.
Perk 2: Assassin Pro
Assassin, no big red name floating above you bending around corners and over the grass/walls/windows/doors helps a ton. With assassin pro you can literally lay down in the middle of an open field, constantly switching your weapons and everybody will think you are already dead and run by you if you don't shoot.
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro (or Dead Silence)
With cross airs taped on my screen I didn't really need steady aim, I could hip fire just fine in the distance after so much use of the shotguns with hipfire. The most important thing about weapons is to always point towards open doorways and near the edge of corners even when you don't think anyone is coming while you are running. Use dead silence on stages with lots of leaves, metal floors, or stairs. If they can't hear your metallic footsteps they won't expect you to pop through suddenly to spray them down.
Deathstreak:
Juiced (for more aggressive fast paced players) This will get to back to the guy that just killed you faster, if you damaged them they will be easier to kill.
Martyrdom/Dead Man's Hand (if you get killed a lot) Since you have silenced weapons with assassin, as long as you stay away from the middle of the map and open places they will have to run right on top of you to kill you, eventually you'll blow them up.
I used this class to play in the free-for-all tournament, I don't know where I placed exactly yet since it hasn't been posted, but I got silver (top 25%) and only played for about 1 hour of the 3 or 4 it lasted, plus I just stood still and got killed quite a bit because people kept coming by the house and calling me on the phone. :-P
